GETTING STARTED WITH THE LIBRARY SERVICES AND RESOURCES.

When not to cite

There are four situations when you do not need to reference sources:

  • When presenting common knowledge
  • When presenting your experiences, arguments and observation
  • When you are recapping ideas which is already  cited within the body of the same assignment/ research work,
  • When you are summarizing, and concluding.
