I have a library item on loan to me that I have already returned. what do I do?

Please submit an online claim for the item. Library staff will be in contact with you. More information about the Claims process is available from the Library website.

I am a UNAM student, How do I login to library computers?

To use the library computers as a UNAM student, you should log in as follows:

Username: Student number eg, 52371527

Password: 870819

You use same credentials as your student portal 

How do I know when my library books are due?

You will received a notification via email prior three days to the due date.  You can also check on the library website by logging onto your “View my library account” icon.

How many books can I borrow?

The number of loans and loan limits may vary depending on your type of membership. You can find out how many items you can borrow, and for how long, by viewing the Membership page on the library website.

I am a medical graduate student. How do I become a member of the library?

Members of the general public are welcome to become members UNAM Library. Information on how to join and the Library services available for Community members, can be found on the Library's website.

Who are the faculty librarians and how can I contact them?

Faculty Librarians assist with the research, training and information needs of academic and research staff, and postgraduate research students
