Semester opening hours:
Mondays - Thursdays 8h00 - 22h00
Fridays 8h00 - 18h00
Saturdays 12h00 -16h00
Sundays 14h00 - 20h00
Vacation opening hours:
Mon-Friday: 08h00-16h30
Saturday, Sunday, and Public Holidays: Closed
General rules and regulations
Borrowing
- Students / Staff cards or proof of registration should be presented when borrowing library materials.
- All materials must be checked out and returned at the circulation desk.
Returning
- Library books should be returned at the circulation desk before or on the expiry date.
- The Librarian may recall the material, even before the due date, if demand arises.
- Late fees will be charged per day for books not returned on time.
Renewals
- Renewals can be requested before the loan period expires. Books and other library materials may be renewed twice providing that no other reader has reserved the materials.

Renewal could be done at the circulation desk, via phone/email or online self- renewal at http://www.unam.edu.na/library.
Fines
- Late book /s – 50 cents per day and per book
- Lost book/s –N$800.00 or you replace the book with the same title
- Damage book/s---charged according the damage level
Overdue Notices
- Overdue notices are sent daily.
